Service Technician

Industrial Commercial Systems, Inc is in search of an experienced Service Technician to join our Service Team. This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary (DOE), company vehicle, health benefits, 401k, and paid time off. Our fast moving environment is centered on teamwork and corporate family. We are looking for a Service Technician who is positive, organized, detail-oriented, flexible, and a quick learner. Duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide high level customer service to all internal and external customers based on ICS values and objectives.

  • Thoroughly communicate, proactively plan, troubleshoot, and execute all job assignments.

  • Learn by curiosity, strive for excellence and sustain day-to-day operations.

Additional duties include:

  • Ensure safe practices; be proactive in identifying project hazards to minimize risks.

  • Continue technical training/ education.

  • Be on time to scheduled appointments or clearly communicate with dispatcher if you are running behind.

  • Work closely with the service dispatcher to get all assignments planned and clearly communicate any detailed information once the work has been completed.

  • Provide empathy, patience and consistency to all ICS customers.

  • Develop and maintain good-standing relationships with our clients; provide timely responses and leveraging additional sales opportunities.

  • Thoroughly complete all paperwork after each assignment, providing detailed information as needed.

  • Proactively order any parts to complete each assignment assigned.

  • Take job ownership with every task that is assigned to you.

  • Be proactive in identifying issues, opportunities, and problem solving – elevate as required.

  • Show yourself as professional and knowledgeable to win new referrals and repeat business.

  • Maintain a clean/safe jobsite as well as company provided vehicles.

  • Mentor & coach next generation of technicians.
