Pre-Construction Account Executive (HVAC & Plumbing Sales)

Industrial Commercial Systems, Inc is in search of an HVAC Account Executive (or Sales Engineer) who is positive, organized, detail-oriented, flexible, and a quick learner. CORE ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and maintain client accounts & relationships to produce sustainable revenue for ICS.

  • Leverage these relationships to: achieve higher capture rates, obtain design/build and/or negotiated projects (or last look), and maximize project gross margins.

  • Manage the design/build(assist) process, to include management of key design sub-consultants, communicating budget impacts to the client, and protecting/maximizing project gross margin for ICS at final contract.

  • Forecast accurately (via CRM) and meet/exceed yearly sales goals.

  • Provide full transparency to activities (Outlook Calendar) and sales efforts (CRM)

  • Project a positive and professional image of ICS

PRIMARY dutieS:

  • Lead the sales process for new opportunities from GoNoGo, to PreCon Team coordination (page turn or “Flipper”), to management reviews (“Bid Review”), through leading an Operations KickOff (“heads up”) and participating in the Operations Turn Over (final project budget approval meeting).

  • Accountable for vetting all project related pre-Turn Over documentation (which will vary greatly depending on the client and vertical market; bio-lab versus military base, for example).

  • Develop an opportunity-specific sales strategy, including final proposal review and delivery to client (Blue Sheets).

  • Review and comment on project contracts.

  • Be proactive in identifying issues and opportunities, and in solving problems.

  • Routine visits to assigned clients, developing client-specific marketing/sales strategies (Strategic Account Plans).

  • Celebrate victories.
