Pre Construction - HVAC Estimator
Industrial Commercial Systems, Inc is in search of an experienced HVAC Estimator to join our Pre Construction Team. This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary (DOE), health benefits, 401k, and paid time off. Our fast moving environment is centered on teamwork and corporate family. We are looking for a HVAC Estimator who is positive, organized, detail-oriented, flexible, and a quick learner. Duties will include, but are not limited to:
Plan and execute accurate project estimates based on ICS values and Commercial Construction business plans.
Be proactive in identifying issues, opportunities, and solutions to ensure complete/quality estimates.
Collaborate with ICS’ project teams to yield consistent turnover packages and operational budgets.
Additional duties include:
Provide detailed estimates for all ICS projects pursued.
Develop a detailed list of materials, equipment and requirements as outlined in the drawings, specifications, and bid documents.
Aid the project specific sales strategy by providing value engineering options.
Participate in the pre-con bid review process (initial & final).
Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and equipment suppliers to ensure ICS is obtaining the best pricing possible.
Develop and maintain relationships with the estimating staff for our clients in order to establish a rapport of confidence and reliability; provide timely responses and leverage additional sales opportunities.
Ensure estimate files are kept up to date and accurate.
Establish specific project goals with the ICS pre-con team and monitor those targets. (Bid Schedules and Deadlines).
Attend job walks.
Provide cost and price analytics as required (conceptual pricing).
Ensure safe practices.
Hold ICS pre-con teams accountable.
Continually review and improve ICS’ estimating standards.
Celebrate victories.
