A Healthier ICS

The overall health and well being of our employees is extremely important to us. In order to ensure that our employees remain healthy and active, ICS has adopted a Corporate Wellness Program. This program is headed by your Wellness Ambassadors, Judy Smith and Dani Shaughnessy. Both Judy and Dani are dedicated to making ICS a healthier workplace by having fun while educating ourselves in health, exercise and nutrition.

As a part of this program, we have partnered with 24-Hour Fitness. We are able to provide our employees a discounted gym membership by paying for 50% of their dues each month! Please see our Wellness Plan for complete details.

In addition to our fantastic gym program, our wellness program also offers the following:

• Smoking cessation

• Weight Loss Challenge

• Articles on health & well being

• Links to websites offering tips on living a healthy lifestyle.

• “Experiments” to test myths in weight loss, healthy eating, etc.

Our Wellness Plan

The health and wellness of our employees is extremely important to ICS. In order to make sure our employees are leading happy and healthy lifestyles, ICS has decided to put a Wellness Plan in place for our employees and their families.

Exercise is a great way to improve your overall health and is also a fantastic stress reliever. ICS has adopted 24-hour Fitness as their official gym. We have come up with the following promotion for any employees who wish to improve their health by joining a gym:

Membership offers are per the 24-Hour Fitness Website and enrollment specials, and monthly dues may vary.

ICS will pay your initiation fees (if any), AND if you sign up for your membership with the ICS office, ICS will pay for ½ of your monthly dues for the remainder of 2010!!! Yes, you heard right... $0 initiation and ½ price monthly dues!!!

*As there are no 24-Hour Fitness locations in Lawton, our Oklahoma office will be partnered with the local YMCA (Phone: 580-355-9622) with the following rates of which ICS will pay half:

$32 for an adult; $49 for a family; $27 for a senior and $40 for a senior family.

ICS is kicking off our Wellness Program with a Weight Loss Challenge. We will be having our initial weigh-in on 5/13/10. We will continue to have weigh-ins monthly at the company safety meeting. Each month, the 5 employee’s with the highest percentage of weight loss will receive a health related prize. 

In addition, each month every employee who has participated in the weight loss challenge will be entered into a quarterly drawing for a private personal training session at 24-hour Fitness.

We will be listing various health articles, recipes, fun health tips, etc. Be sure to check the website as we will also be listing challenges for employees and will reward employees with prizes for participation.
